Original Scale Edition

Giovanni Domenico Tiepolo, A Spring Shower, 1797–1804. Figures shelter beneath umbrellas during a spring shower.

Original artwork size: 47.1 × 35.5 cm (W × H)
Palatine presentation: 45 × 60 cm Classic Frame, landscape.

Most art-print shops offer the same image in a choice of Small, Medium and Large sizes. We take a different approach. For each edition, we begin with the recorded dimensions of the original work and reproduce the complete image at that scale, preserving its proportions and avoiding enlargement, reduction, cropping or distortion.

Frame finishes
Black, White or Natural.

Paper & glazing
Enhanced Matte with either Perspex or Moth-Eye glazing.

A considered presentation for every work. We assess each edition individually and recommend the frame, paper and glazing combination we believe best complements the work. Our recommendation is preselected when the page opens, but the choice remains yours.

Recommended presentation: Natural frame + Enhanced Matte + Perspex. A Natural frame provides a warm boundary around the work, leaving its finer marks and colour relationships to carry the image. 60 × 45 preserves the entire support and its original border with controlled additional margins. Enhanced Matte with Perspex is the recommended combination; preserve the complete recorded extent at Original Scale.
